STREAMER is a high-speed, menu-driven data acquisition and control package. STREAMER allows analog inputs from a DAS-16, DAS-16F, DAS-16G, or DAS-20 to be stored on hard disk at rates of up to 90,000 samples per second. The only limitation to the amount of data that can be stored is the size of the hard disk. STREAMER will also take data stored on a hard disk and send it to one or two of the analog outputs on a DAS-20. For digital applications, STREAMER, in conjunction with the PDMA-16 or PDMA-32 digital I/O cards, allows nputs/outputs to be streamed to/from a hard disk in 8 or 16 bit groups. STREAMER also supports external digital trigger to start data collection.
STREAMER software is completely menu driven. The menu allows the user to select sample rate, data file name, channels to scan, and trigger mode. STREAMER includes complete error checking routines which warn the user of error. Some common applications for STREAMER are audio digitization, transient analysis, vibration analysis, waveform analysis and frequency analysis.
